The Vegas Pool Season Will Be Back In A Splash, err, Flash

January 3, 2012 at 5:58 PM | by | Comments (3)

We hate to brag, but it's hovering around 70 degrees this week in Vegas. People were even tweeting about wearing shorts and tees on New Year's Eve:

So, forgive us about getting excited about one more Vegas perk -- the approaching return of the pool party season.

Encore Beach Club is officially the first adult pool to put out the "help wanted" shingle. They're looking to hire 200 and will hold a job fair at the end of the month (Jan. 30-31). Only the scantily (biniki) clad need apply for "model" openings as swimwear will be required. It's up to you whether you think that will fly for the security guard positions. Maybe, if you do something like this.

A trip around the Internets found that WET REPUBLIC at MGM Grand is anticipating a March return....

Look to sunbathe topless at Mandalay Bay's Moorea Beach Club this March, too. Same goes for Bare at The Mirage.

There's no confirmation yet on when Liquid at Aria, Rehab at Hard Rock, Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan or the Palms' pool will reopen, but we'd expect that they'll cannonball into the season with the rest of the crew.

New Year's Resolution

I think this should be one of our New Year's Resolutions--suffer, er, party for an afternoon at a pool party. It's been a while since I've done that!
