Now, comes news that Siegel Group, the company behind the Rumor, the Artisan, the Gold Spike and the Resort on Mt. Charleston, has a suite new project under development -- the purchase and overhaul of the Atrium Suites Hotel. Siegel has announced that it (and a small group of investors) are the new owners of the property. You may recall it best as the Crowne Plaza. Or, as that hotel directly next to the Hard Rock.

After dishing out $4.2 mil for it, Siegel isn't quite sure what happens to the six-story, 202-room hotel next. It's considering either turning it into another boutique hotel experience to add to its portfolio or operating it "under a national hotel flag." Hmm.. Hilton??

A final decision is expected sometime this quarter.
