MDQ is based on the real-life, one-night jam session that took place between Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins. (Find out who Carl Perkins is here. Sorry, Carl Perkins.) The Broadway smash hit has already played under the bright lights of Vegas with a run at The Smith Center earlier this year. VegasChatter enjoyed it along with hundreds of others, but Broadway and Vegas have had a tumultuous past with some ventures proving to be long lasting and others gone in a blink. (Let's pause to remember Avenue Q, Starlight Express, Phantom of the Opera, and The Lion King, just to name a few.)
Tickets for Million Dollar Quartet at Harrah's will range from $69 to $94 a person, and will go on sale to the public starting Friday, October 26. (Get them tomorrow if you're a Total Rewards member.) The show will make its debut on February 4, 2013 and will run Thursdays through Tuesdays at 7 p.m. Thursdays and Saturdays will add a 9:30 p.m. performance as well.
Legends has been at Harrah's for four years now. There are rumors that it's trying to find a new home in Las Vegas.
