Don't worry, Chicken Little, the sky isn't falling.

Proving that doors are sooooooooooooooooo Cirque, Blue Man Group will make a sky-high entrance into its flashy new home at the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino this Wednesday, October 10.

Trained by members of the Red Bull Air Force, the bald blue trio will leap from 7,000 feet above the property, landing on Rue De Monte Carlo at 10 a.m. They will then head over to the Monte Carlo Theater like ordinary pedestrians for a kickoff event with BMG founders Chris Wink and Phil Stanton at 10:30 a.m. And, seeing as former mayor Oscar Goodman has never met a photo opportunity he didn't like, he'll be there, too (on behalf of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitor's Authority).

BMG's first performance in the Monte Carlo Theater takes place at 7 p.m. that evening. Tickets are still available. Prices range from $59 for balcony seats to $215 for a VIP Backstage Experience.

Blue Man Group ended their run at Venetian last month.

...and a BLUE WOMAN?

With each relocation/evolution/move BLUE MAN GROUP makes, there's always something new to look forward to. I even heard rumor of a robotic female addition to their Show along with a Pre-Show parade that will alert casino guests to the start of the Show...somewhere inside the Monte Carlo and will lead audience members toward the showroom.
That is...if they remember to...open their shoots!

Always been a fan myself and have followed the blue brick road from Luxor to Venetian and now Monte Carlo. I get to see 'em next month on my ?last? trip of the year along with Santana, Lewis Black, Doobie Brothers and Zarkana!
