Commonwealth Close To Its Downtown Debut
Three months after it had hoped to open, Commonwealth appears to finally be close to giving us another place to drink on Fremont Street. And, no, there can never be too many.
A stroll through Fremont East on Saturday found a dark-colored building that looks to be close to being finished. A bright yellow sign heralds the bar's name while a peacock roosting on its corner announces all we need to know, cocktails. We even spied chandeliers twinkling through the glass.
As you can sorta tell from the photo at the very top of this post, Commonwealth will have a rooftop lounge which will feature live entertainment. Nu Tone Construction shared the view we'll find via Instagram recently:
And, here's a peek by Nu Tone of the equally dark bar you'll find down below:
If you believe the Internets, Commonwealth is opening any day now. Or, any week now. Definitely, before year's end.
We'll continue to keep an eye on things and will let you know when you'll be able to step into this Prohibition-inspired bar.
