Mandalay Bay Bringing Light Back To Vegas Strip

Five years after shuttering, comes word that Light nightclub will return to The Strip. This time, the Light Group nightspot will trade Bellagio for Mandalay Bay, upper and lower case for all caps (LIGHT) and will throw Cirque du Soleil into the mix, too.

With a catchy 'see what we did there' tagline -- After Dark, There Is Light -- the club will flip the switch (hey, we can do that, too!) in March 2013:

Designed as an experience to play with your senses, LIGHT - turned on by Cirque du Soleil - will offer far more than the traditional nightclub. Upon arriving at LIGHT, guests enter the realm of the unknown, as everyone in the club is part of the show. Headlining DJs and performers will lead the charge, coupled with exclusively built performance elements and visuals provided by revolutionary video mapping, lighting, sound and special effects experts Moment Factory, as well as avant-garde costumes and unique choreography. At LIGHT no two nights out will be the same. The spectacle and feeling forever engrained in the mind of guests beg the ultimate question: Have You Seen The Light?

Oh, snap. Ok, Light Group. You win the word play game. This time.

From the description above and the YouTube video below, right now we're expecting to walk into a mix of a Cirque show, the Goretorium and The Act. Word Play

OMG This is so exciting. I LOL'ed when you said they won for the word play. The concept is intriguing and the video a tad haunting but...thrilling! I look forward to what Mandalay Bay has in store. Come correct MB!
