@vegasbecca I have news for you. I saw Purple Reign at the D Sunday. And I heard that they're moving from the D back to Hooters!

Twitter's @George_Addams tells us that Purple Reign's last performance at the D was a week ago Sunday. He didn't know when they were scheduled to return to Hooters, but we do -- November 22.
Word of the move is already traveling fast with VegasChatter fan Chrissy M. emailing us about it just this morning:
can you do a story on why purple reign left The D to go back to Hooters? thanks!
Unfortunately, we don't know the reason behind the switcheroo. The Las Vegas Sun recently interviewed the man behind the eyeliner, Jason Tenner, and reported that the band "regularly sells out" at the D. We tried contacting a representative for the D to see if the band was gone for good, but did not receive a response. We're going to assume it is since it's been completely removed from the D's website.
Purple Reign will perform at Hooters Thursdays through Sundays at 9:30 p.m. starting this Thursday.
11.26 Update: The D says Purple Reign's contract came to an end and wishes them well.
