The menu calls this messy concoction Sweet Potato S'mores ($9), a layer of salty crisp sweet potato fries topped with a jumble of slightly toasted marshmallows and broken graham cracker bits before being dusted with powdered sugar and drizzled in chocolate. Or, is it drizzled and then dusted? It doesn't really matter because the outcome was pure get-in-our-belly bliss.
The dish, big enough for two or more to share, comes served with two slim wooden spears for eating. We ended up sacrificing way too many marshmallows to the tabletop, though, so dropped the novelty of the sporks and went with the guaranteed success of a good ol' fashioned fork, instead.
If you end up going with the burger first at Rattlecan, just make sure you wait on getting fries with that until you're ready for dessert.
