Vegas is showing its appreciation for our men and women in uniform by helping them enjoy the city for less.

The restaurants of Block 16 are offering veterans and active military 50 percent off eats this holiday weekend. Head to Public House at Venetian (shown above), Holsteins at The Cosmopolitan, and LBS Burger at Red Rock between Saturday, November 10 and Monday, November 12 to dine for half off. Just make sure you flash your proof of service.

Caesars Entertainment is also featuring a host of discounts for the military at its properties, and some can be had all year round. The biggest (to us at least because we think with our stomachs) is that all service men and women can score a free Buffet of Buffet pass on Veteran's Day, Sunday, November 11. (Although, you will have to pay an upgrade charge if you choose to go to Caesars' Bacchanal Buffet or Rio's Village Seafood Buffet within the 24 hours that the pass is good for.)

Here's a rundown on the rest of the deals to be found up and down The Strip:

Paris Las Vegas

Meantime, MGM Resorts is offering members of the Armed Service complimentary entry to Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage on Sunday, November 11. Any family or friends that accompany will be able to receive a military discount on admission.

Station Casinos is also taking this holiday to help our service men and women save a buck.
