As soon as Thanksgiving passes, we begin to hear Christmas music in the casinos. Casinos start us off gently by mixing Christmas favorites into about 1 of every 20 songs, but as we close in on December 25th that ratio increases. Depending on the casino, we can expect to hear a Christmas classic mixed in about once every four to eight songs we hear. Right now, may be the perfect balance between holiday music and regular music in the casino.
This writer will be spending the next four days in various casinos and looks forward to some holiday cheer, but there's definitely a limit to how many times anyone can hear Mariah Carey sing "All I Want For Christmas." We prefer more up-tempo Christmas music and we will never tire of Paul McCartney 's "Wonderful Christmas Time." This east coast guy would like to hear "Christmas In Hollis" every now and agai,n but Run DMC isn't very casino friendly.
