Fun With (Hotel Room) Numbers

We play around casinos and Vegas resorts all day and we often come across random numbers that we never thought we would find amusing. Today's random nugget comes from one of the largest hotels in the world -- MGM Grand. How long would it take to stay in every room at MGM Grand?

There are 6,582 rooms at MGM so it would take just over 18 years to stay in every room at the hotel.

If you combine Venetian and Palazzo there are 8,108 combined rooms. Even though they're, technically, two separate hotels, it's often considered one property. So, how long would it take to sleep around there? Over 22 years.

While we're having fun with numbers, do you know what the numbers on a roulette wheel add up to? We know, but we'll leave this one to you to do the math. Tell us the answer below.

Roulette numbers

I was told recently that all of the numbers on a roulette wheel add up to 666 though I did not check the math myself.

Is that with a single zero or double zero?  :)

Here's the math:

You can add up 1+2+3...+36. Or, you can take the shortcut: There are 18 pairs that equal 37 (1+36, 2+35, 3+34 etc) and 18x37 = 666.
