Logo Hounds Should Sniff Out Bargains At Luxor

Maybe you always pick up a shot glass at every hotel you visit. Or, perhaps, you feel obligated to pick up a Vegas souvenir for the boss or the next door neighbor. Or, you just want to replenish your stash of 'oh, crap, I forgot so-and-so's (insert event here)' last-minute gifts.

But, don't just hit the first Vegas lobby store you see. Try to head to Luxor instead. Yes, we realize we just wrote Luxor. Buried within its mostly vacant ~~crypt~~ retail, umm, mall is a shop simply called Logo Outlet which offers, you guessed it, logo wear and souvenirs but not just for the pyramid, for all of its sister MGM Resorts properties. And, more importantly, at outlet pricing.

Yes, we're not talking about the trendiest souvenirs here. Clearly, they've been on the shelf for a while. But, it's Vegas and aren't the nicknacks you pick up supposed to be cheezy, anyway? As we mentioned, the best thing about this merchandise is the pricing. Shot glasses marked down to $1.99, giant oversized coffee mugs to $3.99, beer mugs offered at a buy one, get one discount. Magnets, key rings, and more can also be had starting at .99 cents.

There's lots of logo wear, too, from shirts and shorts to jackets. And, for those envious of the Gazillionaire's flair, there are sections of, err, overlooked? vintage? men's and women's retail wear, marked way, way down. We're talking talking a $465 Chiari menswear jacket discounted to $115. A $4,150 Briori sport jacket down to $414. On the women's side, we found a cocktail frock that once retailed for $591 redlined to $40. Forty bucks. There was also swimwear and jewelry, too.

If you're ever in the neighborhood and feel like checking it out, the Logo Outlet is buried in the darkened retail mall near the people movers to Excalibur.
