Kokomo's To Shutter Soon

If the Internets are right (and we all know they are), we have less than a month to bid adieu to Kokomo's at The Mirage. Or at least to take a picture in front of it for our Vegas Past scrapbook.

MGM Resorts announced the restaurant's coming closure back in September, but has yet to put a date to it. The Interwebs now tell us that the lobby eatery will shutter effective January 13. Kokomo's will be replaced by a Tom Colicchio steakhouse concept come summertime.

The closure will leave The Mirage down two restaurants. BB King's shuttered last month after on-going financial woes. There have been no announced plans as to what will happen to that space.
