New Year's Eve Rates For Party People Who Are Also Procrastinators

We said earlier in December that you were running out of time and now you're downright up against the wall. While many hotels are sold out or high-priced, such as the Rio and the Hard Rock, you can still find a room out there if you want to make a last minute New Year's trek to Vegas.

We know that The Strip is packed, but what about the surrounding blocks? Here's a look at what's left at some of the more popular places off-Strip which we think are good options for those just looking for a crash pad. Gold Coast and Orleans are essentially steals given the time of year, and reduced rates on the 1st take some of the sting out of stays at places like the Hard Rock or the Palms.

New Year's Eve Stays

Hard Rock (no minimum stay): You'll pay the price for New Year's Eve, but the Hard Rock does you a solid with a fantastic rate the following night.

Palms (two-night minimum):

Gold Coast: There's a two-night minimum stay, and the 30th is sold out, but it's a very solid budget option for those who don't plan on spending much time in the room.
