When You Want To Get Physical On The Strip, Any Hour Of The Day
Time for another VegasChatter Question! Do you have a question about Vegas, too? We bet you do. Send it to us and you just might see it here on VegasChatter!
When you're guy wants to workout all the time, workout all the time, workout all the time when in Vegas, what's a gal to do? That's our latest VegasChatter Question, this one from fan Breanna S.:
Hi my name is Breanna, and I must say, I love the website. I visit it just about every day.
I would like to know if there are any casinos on or off the Strip that have gyms that stay open past 8 p.m. I am taking a trip to Vegas in about a month or two, and have begun looking for places to stay, however, my husband, who is a fitness buff, will find it hard to know that the hotels that Iíve researched, including the Bellagio, Wynn, and the Palms, only have gyms that stay open until around 8:00. We want to split our time accordingly between shopping, dining, taking in the sights, of course gambling, and my husband would like to workout as well, but again, I canít find any hotels that offer gyms that stay open later than 8:00. Is this the way things are in Vegas or am I not doing a thorough enough search?
We let our fingers do the walking to help keep Breanna's hubbie in top form. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any fitness centers on The Strip open round the clock, although Mandalay Bay's are open until 8:30 p.m. and Mandarin Oriental's keeps the lights on until 9 p.m. on the weekend.
Just off the Strip, however, The Signature at MGM Grand, the trio of condo-hotel towers behind the main hotel, offers two fitness centers to guests and both are open 24/7. Of course, there's a resort fee attached to that, but in this case convenience probably trumps cost. Check out one of Signature's gyms in the photo below. Each provides "treadmills, cross trainer, stair climbers, and stationary bikes" as well as free weights.
If you know of other 24/7 gyms attached to a hotel either on or near The Strip, tip Breanna off in the comments below.
