Man, SHe (Still) Feels Like A NYE Opening

We had assumed Eva Longeria's second go at the Strip restaurant scene, SHe by Morton's (a steakhouse just for her), would be just another Vegas delay. But, here we are on December 5 and it's still actively touting a New Year's Eve debut on social media.

We know what SHe sounds like, a concept so strange surprising that it will definitely call for an in-person visit. (Don't worry. We'll report back.) But, while there will be lots of spectacle surrounding dinners at SHe, what about the most important thing? The steak? Vegas Magazine sheds a tiny bit of light on how SHe plans to be a cut above the rest in its December/January issue:

The steak menu will have "She," "He," and "We" (small, traditional and shared) cuts...

For a Chatter'er that doesn't really go for steak, a daintier portion does sound intriguing. Especially, as we won't be paying that much attention to our plate, what with the rain curtains, laser beams and models all around us. No need for our food to get cold as we gawk.

If you can't wait to check SHe out, tickets for its New Year's Eve bash are now on sale. Gals will be able to party for $75 while guys will need to fork over twice that. SHe replaces Eva's failed Beso restaurant and Eve nightlife concepts inside Crystals at CityCenter.

Now, here's what else is making news around Vegas:

Harmon Hotel won't be coming down anytime soon, after all (Vegas Inc.)
Dos Caminos is returning to Vegas, but not to the Strip (Las Vegas Weekly)
●There's a new way to get from Vegas to Reno (Vegas Inc.)
●Caesars is approved for an online poker site (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
●The top 10 states for beer drinkers includes Nevada, but we're not no. 1 (Marketwatch)
