The Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace Now Set for a Fall Opening

It looks like you might have to wait just a little bit longer to get Nobu sushi delivered to your room at the Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace. Previously, we heard the hotel would be opening in the summer but according to this new report from Forbes, a fall opening is much more likely. Don't know if that means September or December, though.
But, everything else seems to be on track. Renovations are currently going on inside CP's old Centurion Tower under the watchful eye of today's most in-demand hotel designer, David Rockwell, and, when the work is done, a new 180-room, 16-suite Nobu Hotel will emerge. And, yes, the hotel will mimic the style of Nobu Sushi restaurants:
If [Rockwell's] signature style for other Nobu spaces is any indication, natural elements found in the Japanese countryside (birch trees, running water features, river stones and wood flooring) combined with sleek finishes are likely to be found throughout the hotel, its restaurant and lounge.
But, that's not all. Inside the guestroom minibars, there will be small bottles of Nobu’s signature sake, a separate hot water dispenser for green tea and hot towels upon check in. Speaking of, check-in will be separate from the rest of the crazy Caesars Palace check-in lines and will even have its own private elevator up to the guestrooms. Oh. And, of course, there will be a 24-hour room service menu from Chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
Not keen on eating alone in your room? The Nobu Hotel will also have a giant, 11,200-square-foot restaurant and lounge featuring, Teppanyaki tables, a sushi bar and a private dining area. In total about 327 diners can be accommodated here.
It's too far out to look up room rates -- heck, there's not even a website for Nobu Hotel yet -- but, we'll guesstimate an opening night rate somewhere near $400. What say you?
