DeNiro and Nobu Matsuhisa chat with Caesars regional president Gary Selesner about Nobu Hotel.

There's even more to get excited about with the upcoming Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace.

When you spend a night inside one of the hotel's 180 rooms, you can rest soundly knowing that both Robert DeNiro and Chef Nobu Matsuhisa handpicked the furnishings and design elements.

That's what the duo were doing yesterday when they toured the hotel to check on its construction progress. Also on hand were the property's shareholders, including Meir Tapa, who were given a full tour of the place and the all-important restaurant space by the hotel's new general manger, Gigi Vega. Later, everyone signed the Nobu construction wall.

Ok, so there's nothing really new to report and it's not like we got to see the inside of a Nobu room or anything, but it is still exciting to see the Nobu Hotel in the works. Remember, the place opens this fall. We'll let you know as soon as rooms open for reservations.
