A Closer Look At Hard Rock's New Players Club

March 22, 2012 at 6:09 PM | by | ()

Earlier this month, we told you that the Hard Rock was rockin' a brand new players club. Now, the hotel is releasing more info regarding just what it offers.

We already knew that the new rewards program would allow members to rack up points outside of gaming, just like almost every other players club these days. Dine, stay, shop, and earn points. The card will also entitle you to discounted dining, complimentary nightclub entry, and more.

A press release sent out earlier today details the program as three tiered -- the entry level General Admission, followed by Entourage and Platinum -- and highlights its offerings:

Rewards and benefits of the Backstage Pass include:

ˇ Preferred Guest Room Rates (All Members)
ˇ Access to ticket presales for concerts and fights at The Joint (All Members)
ˇ Priority Reservations for unique Spa Treatments at Reliquary Water Sanctuary & Spa (Entourage and Platinum Access Level Members)
ˇ Complimentary Access & Priority Entry to famed Rehab Pool Party/Beachlife Experience (Entourage and Platinum Access Level Members)
ˇ Complimentary Bottle Service and Priority Entry to the Exclusive Vanity Nightclub (Entourage and Platinum Access Level Members)
ˇ Two (2) Complimentary Concert Tickets every 25,000 points earned (Entourage and Platinum Access Level Members)
ˇ Personal Host Services (Platinum Access Level Members)

Gamblers should note that, in addition to rewarding any type of table play (there is no minimum), the Backstage Pass will also award 500 points for every hour spent at the poker table. Slot play will be 1 point for every dollar in on reel or video reel machines and 1 point for every $2 in on video poker.

Non-gamblers will "earn 10 points for every $1 spent on hotel services, dining, nightlife, entertainment, spa/salon and retail."

500 points for every hour at the poker table? So if my math is right, 50 hours of poker nets two free concert tickets.  But for those same two tix, video poker players need to drop $50,000?

If that's correct, that is an AMAZING deal for poker players.

Rockstar vs Backstage Pass

In the Rockstar player club at the Hard Rock it was 1 point for every $1 in on video poker. Now it is 1 point for every $2 in on video poker. Also getting to the 2nd level (Gold) was only 2000 points not 25000. I guess we see who is not going to benefit as much in this players club. The Rockstar club was better for me.

@Mr Pappagiorgio

WOW!  That is a great deal for poker players.  Perhaps Hard Rock is trying to become THE place to play poker.

No Tier Points for poker or purchases

Free concert tickets???
Mr Pappagiorgio, if those are the free concert tickets that come with the Entourage Level, you will be sorely disappointed.  You do not get Tier Points for poker play or for purchases.  You only get comp points for that. 50 hours of poker play will get you $50 in comps.  That is it.
