Resto Roundup: Opening Days for Carlos'n Charlie's, Slice of Vegas, and More
Now that we know when we can experience
another a MasterChef in Vegas, we've got a few more restaurant openings to add to your calendar.
VegasChatter friend @_Lucky45 tells us that the staff of Carlos'n Charlie's at Flamingo have been informed that their opening date is the 16th of this month. He also snapped the photo seen above of the construction wall coming down earlier this week.
Word on the Facebook is that another party bar and restaurant just down The Strip will open the same day.
Billy Cancun remarked on Senor Frog's Facebook page that their opening day is April 16, too. And, if his last name is Cancun, he has to know, right?
Senor Frog's is taking over the space formerly known as Khotan and Christian Audigier Nightclub at Treasure Island.
Over at Mandalay Bay, Slice of Vegas will dish out its first pies this Friday, April 6, according to Urban Daddy which describes it as a "no frills" pizza joint.
We can't tell if those lights are for your eyes or the pies...
And, in other restaurant news, Vegas Inc reports that Culinary Dropout -- a hipster gastropub from Scottsdale -- will open a Sin City outpost inside the Hard Rock "this summer." The online menu features everything from 36-Hour Pork Ribs and Korean-Style Ribeye to Grilled Cheese Sliders and Apple Monkey Bread.
