You Had Us At Beer... Then Again At Cigars

There are few things better than chillaxin' with a drink and a nice cigar. Casa Fuente is giving an excuse to do both this month. Each week this month, Casa Fuente will feature a selection of small batch and craft beers in what they're calling their Casa Fuente Craft Beer Festival.

Set for June 22-23, the fest will take place at the cigar bar in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. From noon until 6 p.m. each day, you'll be able to sample beers from all over the world. The festival is free to attend with tickets redeemable for beers available in four-packs for $20.

Some of the beers being poured during the entire month of June and at the Craft Beer Festival will include:

Ballast Point Big Eye IPA, San Diego

MOA Pale Ale, New Zealand

Liberty Ale, San Francisco

Leffe Blonde Pale Ale, Belgium

Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, Delaware

Firestone Velvet Merlin Oatmeal Stout, Paso Robles

Magners Irish Cider, Ireland

Blue Moon Summer Honey Wheat, Colorado

Innis & Gunn Oak Aged Beer, Scotland

Banana Bread Beer, England

John Henry 3 Lick Spiker, Minnesota

Anchor Porter, San Francisco

St. Bernardus Abt 12, Belgium

When we think about smoking a cigar, beer isn't the first thing on our mind. We're usually looking to a glass of wine or espresso. We also think about black and white movies with men in suits sipping scotch or whiskey. Alternatively, we may just watch Mad Men.

We love beer and think that there are some interesting ones here. The Firestone Velvet Merlin Oatmeal Stout makes us think that it will be a particularly nice complement to a cigar similar to how an espresso is. While we're not sure craft beer and cigars go well together, we're willing to find out.
