Caesars Clarifies Total Rewards' Comp Show Ticket Policy

July 10, 2012 at 1:32 PM | by | ()

Taken away back in April, free show tickets have returned for certain tiers of Total Rewards. But, where once everything was understood, now confusion reigns.

Last week, our East Coast Gambler reported on how comp tickets were back (kinda). Several websites noted that while the perk had returned in June, availability was limited to just Seven Stars members. After our post, though, several fans reached out to us to let us know that Diamond members could get free tickets again, too. We reached out to Caesars Entertainment to clear things up and here is their official response:

The benefit is available to Diamond and Seven Stars members (2 free tickets per member) and a BOGO (buy one, get one) offer for Platinum members. One benefit redemption per calendar month per account.

Shows are:
Harrah's - Defending the Caveman, The Improv, Legends in Concert and Mac King
Imperial Palace - Jeff Civillico, Divas Las Vegas and Human Nature
Flamingo - Nathan Burton and Vinnie Favorito
Bally's - Tony n' Tina's Wedding and Jubilee!
Paris - Anthony Cools and Empire Comedy
Rio - Penn & Teller

Caesars' representative tells us that a few additional shows may be added as well. We'll let you know if and when that happens!

Not sure....

....why anyone would bother with trying to "earn" these comps.  For many of these shows, you can clip a coupon and see it for free, or ten bucks for an upgrade.

It's nice to be given free things, but as an incentive to gamble, this just doesn't work.

Here is a Sure Bet

A program well worth your efforts is offered by (CET) aka. Bally's, Caesars, Harrahs, Flamingo, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Quad, and Rio! These comps are spent like cash from a players card, which is used like a debit card, for rooms, food, shows, and even Casino free play, A person can even fund entry into the WSOP! My last trip I redeemed $140! I'm collecting for my 2014 vacation, I'm up to $80 in 3 months!

To start, first go to> bit.ly/YuuhlV
once there get a TR players card.
(If you already have a TR card skip this)

Quick Way To Platinum/Diamond Status

If you really want to enjoy the benefits  of being a platinum or diamond member, there are 2 easy ways to raise your tier level without spending thousands of dollars and only takes about 4 weeks to take into effect.

To get platinum, you won't have to spend a dollar. All you have to do is apply and get approved for their total rewards credit card. By the time you get your card in the mail you should be upgraded.

To get diamond, you will have to join Founders Card (www.founderscard.com). The annual fee is normally $795, but theres a $300 discount with a referral code. There are a lot more benefits included when you join, but is not total rewards related. It took me a little over 2 weeks to get bumped up to diamond, and if you do this around January-March your diamond status will be good until March 2016.

Use my referral code FCKEVIN304 for an invite.
