Cee Lo Fans Will Have To See Him Later at Planet Hollywood

This ruined our day.

We've been geeked out about this for a year now ever since hearing about it on the TODAY show -- a Vegas residency by Cee Lo Green. Titled "Loberace" (and, we saw what they did there), it wasn't long before we learned the show was headed to Planet Hollywood.

You can imagine how we felt then when we checked up on Vegas headlines today and saw this:

It was enough to make us choose drinking over cocktailing. Possibly, with Cee Lo's new sake brand.

Cee Lo's show was supposed to make its Strip debut next month. But, Vegas reporter John Katsilometes says that's now become an "unspecified time in ’13." Katsilometes writes that two reasons are being given for the delay -- one, Cee Lo's obligations on NBC's The Voice and two, the show needed time to "assemble all of the fancy effects." (Apparently, more is needed than two Jubilee showgirls.)

The news is so new that no updates can be found on the Cee Lo Green ticket page on the Planet Hollywood website (which still exists) nor on Loberace.com. There hasn't even been a shout-out to fans on his Facebook page.

No information has been given, either, on how to get your money back if you already purchased tickets. We're going to assume that they'll be automatically refunded to you if you purchased via credit, or that you'll need to go back to the point of purchase if you used cash.

Wednesday-Saturday, April 3, 4, 5, 6
Wednesday-Saturday, April 10, 11, 12, 13

*Wednesday-Friday show times 11 p.m. Saturday shows start at midnight.

Ticket holders for the postponed performances may receive an exchange or refund at the original point of purchase. New show dates will go on-sale Wednesday, August 1, 2012.

I read about the 'chance' he'd cancel the other day in Robin Leachs'
Vegas Deluxe...today it was confirmed.
I had a tic for September.
Called Planet Ho box office...
Called Best Of Vegas where I bought the ticket...
Neither had the confirmation the show was canceled but they will and a refund will come.
Good thing too...I'll use the $116. to got a tic for...The WHO that are coming to the Hard Rock's JOINT in Feb of next year.

unspecified time in '13.

Because of the taping schedule of Green's NBC show, "The Voice," he's moving back his "Cee Lo Green is Loberace" series of shows at Planet Hollywood until Feb. 27, 2013.
