Bagatelle May Not Open Until Mid-September

It wasn't even a full two weeks ago that we were crossing our fingers in hopes that Bagatelle would open before Labor Day. Now, it seems that a post-holiday opening may be much more likely.

A VegasChatter tipster wrote to us that Bagatelle's debut at the Trop is being delayed four more weeks at minimum due to construction and permit issues. Last we heard from the beach-slash-night-slash-supper club was that a mid-August opening was anticipated. A "target" debut of Memorial Day weekend had been originally touted. If accurate, that would push Bagatelle's debut to mid-September now.

And, adding fuel to the rumors that Bagatelle will have a hotel component, too, over at the Tropicana is this --

Sooooo...

... disappointing on many levels. I have seen the Trop before the renos and have been supportive every time I've had a Vegas visit.  I'll be back in town Labor Day week and was looking forward to Bagatelle being open for business!

Pride Pool Party

Tickets are being sold for a pool party here on September 7th for the Gay Pride week festivities.  Let's hope they make that date.
