Foodie Roundup: From Bizarre Foods in Vegas to Top Chef Viewing Parties

Not very bizarre food in Vegas.

We watched him tweet and eat his way through Sin City back in February. Next week, we'll really be able to dig into Andrew Zimmern's foodie trek through Vegas when the season premiere (and 100th episode) of Bizarre Foods America debuts July 9 on the Travel Channel.

The episode will feature Zimmern checking out $750 cupcakes, a $5,000 hamburger and Bellagio's buffet which feeds 4,000 a day (in case, you were too busy eating to do a head count when you were last there), among other stops around town.

If you can't wait until July 9, head online to check out four different Las Vegas preview clips, from Lotus of Siam to a stop at rm seafood.

The Cosmo offers the right amount of wrong with, hopefully, the right amount of seasoning on the newest season of Bravo's Top Chef Masters. The resort will be the show's featured hotel and will set the stage for many of its challenges.

The season premiere of TCM will make a splash poolside at The Cosmopolitan July 25 with a viewing party slated for the Boulevard Pool at 9 p.m. The episode will be aired on Cosmo's jumbo marquee and nighttime viewing parties will continue each Wednesday through the season finale set for September 26.

All parties will be open to the public and will be all-ages events as well.

Another top chef, Rick Moonen, will host a viewing party of his own this July 10. Not, in celebration of Top Chef Masters or his feature on the return of Bizarre Foods, but to mark his appearance on Dan Rather Reports. Next week, the HDNet show will focus on Moonen's efforts to save Alaska's Bristol Bay and its sustainable salmon.
