Fright Dome's Got A Scare Master Of Its Own

While soon-to-open Goretorium is being brought to us by the terrifying mind of Eli Roth, Fright Dome isn't letting their horrifying new competition damn them just yet.

Celebrating its 10th year on The Strip, Fright Dome has announced that zombie "godfather" George A. Romero (think Night of the Living Dead and the other of the Dead flicks) will scare up some unexpected thrills of his own under the bright pink glow of The Adventuredome. (Eli Roth is behind such horror movies as Hostel and Cabin Fever.)

Romero will take over one of Fright Dome's five haunted houses and will feature, you guessed it, zombies in the Ward of the Dead which "will immerse guests in a real life zombie apocalypse, leaving them to fend off attacking zombies as they race for safety." Here's what else you'll experience... if you dare:

Fright Dome will feature four additional all-new haunted houses including "The Infected," a zombie quarantine area; "Camp Massacre," a twisted, chainsaw-ridden summer camp; "Fright Dome's Urban Legends," playing on classic fears; and the "The Anniversary" which will combine fan favorites from over the past 10 years of terror at the event.

Fright Dome will take over Circus Circus starting Saturday, September 29 while Goretorium will make its debut two days earlier. Here's how the two will stack up when it comes to hours and pricing:
