You Can Now Gamble With Real Money On Facebook (Asterisk)

Online gambling is on its way and, when it arrives, you can add Facebook to the outlets that will offer it.

Today, Facebook started allowing online bingo play forreal money in the UK, according to Business Insider. It's being offered through a game called Bingo Friendzy which was developed by online gaming company, Gamesys. (The same company is behind CaesarsCasino.com and CaesarsBingo.com.)

Bingo Friendzy is available as a Facebook app to residents of the UK who are 18 years of age or older, as reported by TheNextWeb.com. The site also states that "Zynga, Facebook’s largest gaming partner by a margin, is also planning to venture into the real-money online gambling space in the near future." Our East Coast Gambler has reported on rumors that Zynga may be looking at teaming up with Wynn for an online poker game.

Facebook will reportedly receive 30 percent of the revenues generated by Bingo Friendzy so you can bet this will be just one of many more real-money gambling apps to come.
