This Vegas Virgin's First Time Came At 50

We told you about our first time... visiting Vegas, that is. And, some of you have told us about yours. Now it's time for another VegasChatter member, Anderguy, to tell you about losing his Vegas virginity. He shares the pics that prove it, too!

"I went to Vegas for the first time last February for my 50th birthday. I couldn't pull off completely free, but I think I did nicely: I used an award ticket on Southwest Airlines; I negotiated a discounted rate for a Strip View room at the Tropicana with a waiver of the resort fee; I saw Peepshow (front row dead center) and Zumanity (also a pretty good seat) using promo codes to score discounts."

"At Koi, I informed them when making the reservation that it was my birthday weekend and was seated at a banquette by the window and received a personalized, comp dessert. Went to Krave (hated it BTW) using text messages to get in without paying cover."

"Never did get the free drink(s)/shot(s) I thought would come my way by telling the bartenders it was my birthday, but they probably hear variations of 'can I have a free drink because...' hundreds of times a shift. Although I did meet up with a couple of Chicago friends who were out there at the same time who bought me drinks on Friday night."
