I have been trying for 2 days and either get a busy signal or it just rings and rings and rings without being answered.
I am not the only one apparently: lasvegasblog.harrahs.com.
Is it too much to ask to make a simple reservation?
Had unbelievably professional service from SW and Del Frisco on previous trips to Vegas... kind of surprised that a simple thing like taking reservations is overwhelming this new restaurant.
A trip to the link our tipster sent led to another rant about the unanswered reservation line with Sepherson Landers recently commenting:
I tried to make a reservation at about 8p in Las Vegas tonight. I tried 6 times to call 702-946-4663 and got a busy signal. I finally got through and was asked to be put on hold. So far from first ring, hold to now it's been 41 minutes. The call wasn't serviced once! Not impressed and quite surprised! I finally hung up! Ramsay: what waste of my time!
VegasChatter gave the reservation line a call as well and got through quickly today on the first try after being routed through an automated, voice-prompted system. (Did you mean Paris with a p? Erm. Yes?) When a reservationist got on the line, we asked about availability for tonight and were told that the restaurant "was fully committed." When we asked when the first available reservation was, the representative couldn't say, informing us that it depends based on cancellations. Umm. Okkkkay?
So, with that non-answer in mind, if you're interested in dining at Gordon Ramsay Steak know that day of rezzies are probably not likely, that reservations can be made up to three months in advance (and sounds like they should) and that persistence may be key, but that in the mind of most Yelpers (who, by an overwhelming majority, give it five stars), it's "amazing," "totally wonderful," and "insanely good."
