Usually, we'd say it's way too early expect news on New Year's Eve happenings on The Strip, but this year is proving to be different.
Last week, we learned that SHe restaurant (Eva Longoria's do-over at Crystals) will open on December 31. (And, before that, we learned that Hakkasan would not.) Now, The Cosmopolitan has announced that it will heat up the last night of the year with a performance by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The band will start party rockin' inside The Cosmo's Chelsea at 11 p.m. that night. Tickets, which go on sale this Friday, will be flush with cash, though, and want a room to go with your tickets, New Year's Eve packages will be on sale that will include a two-night stay in a one-bedroom terrace suite, brunch for two at the Wicked Spoon and a three-hour open bar the night of the concert for $1,800.
