Les Misérables Finally Coming To Vegas, But Not Where You Might Guess

It's the monster, worldwide musical theater hit that will finally be staged in Las Vegas. But, it's not playing the Smith Center and it's not where you'd guess. Well-known local theatrical impresario Bill Fayne is auditioning to stage Les Misérables at the LVH with planned shows July 5-6 in the LVH Showroom.
Les Misérables continues to be one of those classic Broadway shows that theater fans would love to see find a home on the Las Vegas Strip. It doesn't look like that, or even a visit by the official touring company, will be happening anytime soon. We don't expect much in the way of a set for this home-grown production. But, there will be a full orchestra. Yet no pay for the singers. All sounds like a labor of love on behalf of the production team, too.
Les Miz forms part of a currently unannounced "LVH Broadway in Concert" season. We did discover, however, that they will also stage a performance of Guys & Dolls on March 29.
Right now, you'll find zero information from the producers or LVH, but we're sneaky like that. We do wonder if LVH is thinking about adding more theatricality to their entertainment roster. Aside from these shows? It is awfully quiet over there. And, if you are interested in auditioning for these shows, try-outs will be held January 16-17 in the LVH showroom. Break a leg.
