Gold Club rezzies will also net guests complimentary WiFi, turndown service, in-room water and coffee, express room service, VIP line passes for the buffet, cafe and showroom and VIP check-in as well as access to Golden Nugget's VIP Lounge. Rates run, on average, from $119 to $199 a night.

If you choose to stay in another type of accommodation at the Golden Nugget, there are new self-serve kiosks to help you with that. Introduced in November and located by the Carson Tower elevators, the kiosks (seen above) now allow guests to check themselves in as well as print their own keys.

And, sure you've been through the Golden Nugget's shark tank (or at least swam up to it), but now you can go behind the scenes as well. New Shark Tank tours, hosted by the hotel's marine biologists, will tell you everything that you've ever wanted to know about the 200,000 gallon aquarium as well as send you home with a souvenir shark tooth.
Tours are offered Thursdays through Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. Tickets will take a bite out of your wallet are $30 a person and can be purchased here.
