On the coming soon front, Radio City Pizza is coming to Fremont East after once being destined for the Plaza. The pizzeria is being built adjacent to Park on Fremont, a new bar that's still a work in progress as well. You won't have to wait long to try it out, though. Radio City Pizza will mark its grand opening next week according to the countdown (T minus 7 days and counting Thanks to @BruceNV on Twitter who reports the countdown has been reset to T minus 21 days now) on its website. (508 Fremont Street)
Pizza Rock is headed to what will be a newly reinvigorated Downtown 3rd this year (that section of downtown that already houses Mob Bar, Triple George, Hogs n' Heifers and the coming Downtown Grand). The edgy pizzeria -- described as "where artisan pizza meets nightlife energy" -- will feature a real semi blasting through it's exterior roofline (see below), just like the original outlet in Sacramento. When that shop made its California debut, two hour waits were not uncommon. No word yet on when the downtown Vegas outlet will start dishing it out.

Lastly, Slice is headed to The Ogden (a residential building that's a stone's throw from Fremont Street) by way of NYC's West Village. The Las Vegas Weekly has reported that this pizza shop will offer "seasonal, farm-fresh ingredients." We have to admit, we're already digging its online greeting to pizza lovers of all types, including those with restricted diets: "We welcome free-range meat lovers, vegans, celiacs, poets and everyone in between." No opening date here yet, either, though.
Update: @kristy_tea on Twitter has kindly reminded us of Uncle Joe's, another pizza shop found on Fremont Street. Yelpers report that it offers the downtown bargain of two slices and a drink for $4.50. (505 Fremont)
