The Show Won't Go On For Rio's Show In The Sky

One of city's longest-running free attractions is about to become a piece of Lost Vegas.
Rio's Show In The Sky will mark its final performance on Saturday, March 30 at 11 p.m. Reps aren't saying why it's being shuttered, but we do know that the cast was informed last night. Show in the Sky has been a part of many a Vegas must-do list for some 16 years now. We hear that it's suffered cutbacks in both crew, performers and nights leading up to this news.
The Rio will say that folks who have tickets to ride on one of Show in the Sky's fantasy floats will be able to exchange or refund them at the original point of purchase if they're not able to redeem them before the last night.
If you'd like to see it before it closes, check Rio's website for remaining times and dates.
Thanks to VegasChatter fan sammasseur for the tip.
