Goretorium Adds Female DJs... And, Live Exorcisms?

Trust Goretorium to do something different for Valentine's Day. We recently puzzled over the lack of V Day theming at the year-round horror haunt. Other than the ability to get married by a vampire, or dressed as a zombie. You know, the usual stuff. But, we received word that they will be celebrating today with a couple of additions to the Goretorium experience.

Tonight will be the first night of a new, bi-monthly DJ event called Stereo Love. Held in the Baby Dolls Lounge, the bar with the million dollar view of the Vegas Strip, the twist is all the tune spinners will be female. And, out in force. For tonight's Valentine reveal, DJ Miss Joy, DJ Miyuki, DUWOPRose The Vinylist and DJ Crykit will kick off the series. You still have time to make plans. It runs from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. Tickets are $5 and free for locals. And, they will announce future dates in the series soon.

But, we were also tipped to another new feature. Goretorium creator, film director Eli Roth is the producer of the forthcoming horror flick, The Last Exorcism Part II. And, from now until March 3 the Goretorium lobby will include a "live" display promoting the film. That's all we've been told. We included the poster and trailer below to get you intrigued. And, we're intrigued enough to go check it out. Roth told us that movie tie-ins would be an important factor in the attraction's future. Is a live exorcist setting up store in the gift shop? We can only hope.

2.23 Update: Live exorcisms will be conducted in Goretorium's lobby now through March 3. "Goretorium actors will re-create scenes based on the film every 40 minutes."

We recently pondered aloud about the very discounted tickets to visit Goretorium we've be seeing online. We'd anecdotally heard ticket sales were less than robust. But, we do like the fact they are trying to kick up some dust to get noticed.
