A bit further down the Strip, Twin Peaks breastaurant at Harmon Corner is ticking along towards an early March opening after several postponements. We finally spied a sign while driving by on Wednesday. Its top four attractions in order of importance: scantily clad LumberJills, 29-degree frosted beer mugs, 87 TVs and rock climbing walls. It'll officially open on March 4.

At TI we parked and discovered that the Starbucks across from Mystere is getting a makeover. A red curtain is meant to keep changes under wraps; but, as you can see, super curious peeping Toms won't have a problem scoping them out. No word on when it reopens. Multiple signs direct folks to the Strip-side Starbucks for their caffeine fix until it does.

And, a quick tram ride over to The Mirage, revealed a giant brown construction wall for Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak, opening sometime this summer. On our walk by, nary a construction sound drifted out from within its borders. The steakhouse will replace kokomo's. It should be noted that the lobby bar that fronts the space is still in operation.
