Head To Bar Vdara For Quiet, Eats And Drinks

It has no casino, shows, or fancy restaurants, but it does offer a peaceful retreat from the sometimes overly frenetic energy of the Vegas Strip. And, even if you don't choose to stay at Vdara, there may be a new reason to get you there while on the way to points elsewhere -- a new spot for a quick bite and a moment of peace.
Bar Vdara has been there since the 'boutique' hotel opened so its not new, but its bar food menu is. Offered in the beginning, eats were later pulled, however, they're now back on the grill. Head here for a casual lunch, dinner or late night meal any day of the week. Seats can be had at the bar, at high-top tables, or outside on the patio. And, yes, most times, they're plentiful.

The dining menu proffers appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees and pizza, ranging from $8 to $34. Choices include Seared Ahi Tuna ($10), Beef Sliders ($14), 14 oz. Bone In Rib Eye ($34), BBQ Chicken Pizza ($13) and Creme Brulee ($8). Service runs 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. A full bar features all the usual suspects, as well as $14 specialty cocktails and $10 'skinny' concoctions of 130 calories or less.
