We've Been Told To Stop Playing (For Now), But You Could Be The Next Winner at NYNY

We've always found free stuff to be much better than paid stuff. Luckily for us (and this writer especially), New York-New York's Twitter page agrees.

Once a week as part of a contest called "#FindFridays," @NYNYVegas gives away a prize to the winner of a single-question trivia challenge. Prizes range anywhere from a $100 comp to one of its restaurants to complimentary show tickets.

But, the best part about winning -- and take it from me as a frequent winner -- is the way you're treated when you redeem the reward. When I won $100 to Nine Fine Irishmen, they reserved not one but two tables (one inside and one outside) to make sure we got our pick of prime spots. And, when I redeemed two tickets to Zumanity by Cirque Du Soleil, my companion and I sat third row, center stage.

However, if you want to play, you better be quick. #FindFridays starts at exactly 1 p.m. Vegas time every Friday and a winner is usually determined within 30 seconds (or less if you are as dominant as me, just sayin'). And, here's a tip, questions are always centered around the genre of the prize. For instance, when the award was a comp to Gonzalez Y Gonzalez, the question was "Who's the DJ that spins at Gonzalez Y Gonzalez on Latin Nights?"

Now, before you go thinking you're going to rack up $100+ at New York-New York every week like I did, you must know, that the property likes to limit wins to two times in a six-month period. I've now been banned after winning three weeks straight. (One time under my wife's account and, yes, it's that easy.) So, follow New York-New York on Twitter and start trying to win now because once they lift my ban, it's game on!
