Execs say everything in the rooms has been replaced. Even new RFID locks have been added to the doors. You'll also find laptop-sized in-room safes, additional outlets (now in all lamps and nightstands), flat screen TVs, all natural THANN bath products, and upgraded WiFi.
Two Hospitality Suites on the property's second floor have also been transformed into 600 square feet of meeting space and that actually marks the beginning of the final change for the Las Vegas Marriott. Work to renovate the hotel's 17th floor meeting venues, including its ballroom, will begin later this year.
In 2012 when we talked of the first round of renovations, room rates began at $119 a night. A check of the hotel's website today found rates beginning at $149.
