How Guests Of The Cromwell Will Get Physical

Behind an unassuming door just steps from The Cromwell's casino floor lies its gym. It's so understated we didn't even know it was there. And, anyway, a gym off the casino floor? Really?

VegasChatter member @paperposter made the discovery today and tells us that if the door hadn't been open when he walked by, he would have been none the wiser, too. But, where there's a will open door, there's a way so @paperposter popped in for a quick look and the snapshots you see in this post.

The venue is stocked with all the pieces of equipment you'd normally expect, from treadmills to weight machines. South-facing windows allow natural light to fill the space and also provide a view of Bally's. Or rather, the construction underway at Bally's for the Grand Bazaar Shops.

@Paperposter says the unmarked door leading to the gym can be found near the check-in desk on the casino floor. Usage is included as part of the $25 resort fee. A call to the hotel reveals that the fitness center is available to guests 24 hours and is meant to be restricted to key card access only.

The Cromwell does not offer a spa or a salon. Its casino opened on Monday. The rest of the boutique property will debut on May 21.

Did Ballys move their tower? Typo in article.

Sorry to be nitpicky but you incorrectly noted that the fitness center windows face North towards Bally's.  That would be quite an accomplishment if Bally's re-located north of the Cromwell, so I'll just assume its a typo.  :)

Unintentional mistake. Knew I should have had a cup of coffee before I did this post! Thanks!

Or to put it another way....

Gym users get better views than the people in the north-facing rooms staring at the big brick wall.  Duly noted!!!
