C’est si bon! Right on schedule, Beaujolais Nouveau is set for its annual Thursday of November release and like good wine swilling Francophiles, Paris Las Vegas is hosting its 3rd Annual Beaujolais Nouveau Festival, November 18-22.
For the amateur oenophiles, the region of Beaujolais is a 34-mile stretch long from north to south, spanning 7 to 9 miles wide, just north of Lyon. All the grapes in the Beaujolais region are picked by hand, and only Gamay grapes are made into Beaujolais Nouveau. Enough of the tutorial; let’s get to the good stuff – as in how you can imbibe some of the grapey good stuff.
