Shaking Your Lady Lumps at LAX on Thursday is Getting Pretty Costly
Let’s hope we’re preaching to the converted when we remind you that the Black Eyed Peas are hosting at LAX for New Year’s Eve on Thursday. Or that your Christmas stocking was pretty packed. Because tickets have crept up from the $150 they were going for when we first checked, to $300. Add in the relative fees for booking them and you’re looking at $315.90. $79 per Pea? Not so palatable.
For something a little cheaper, Fiddy over at PURE is going for $250, and Pete Wentz at Jet can be yours for a mere $150. Now doesn’t that make LAX sound so much better value?
Tickets for all of ‘em are gettable here.

How to Get U2 Tickets For This Friday

Now we know when you go to Vegas, you do things you wouldn’t normally do. We understand that. And we don’t judge that.
Which is why we understand you might, in Vegas, decide you want to go to the U2 concert taking place on Friday. No need to be ashamed – it’s Vegas! Last time we were there, we saw Rod Stewart, so it’s not like we can talk. And the Black Eyed Peas are opening for them anyway, which makes it better.
Anyhoo, the gig’s at the Sam Boyd Stadium – about 10 miles east of the Strip, which should cost you about $25 and up in a cab (but save you the embarrassment of being caught entering a U2 concert by other bystanders).

U2 (and Black Eyed Peas) Will Rock Sam Boyd Stadium on Oct. 23
The incomparable - and incomparably earnest - U2 is in the midst of their U2 360 Tour, and while the reviews have been decidedly mixed, enthusiasm is still high and you can bet most shows will be drawing sellout crowds.
That’s already the case with the Vegas show, which is scheduled for October 23 at Sam Boyd Stadium, the outdoor arena located about 20 minutes east of the Strip. The Web site teases there may be single tickets still available and sites like StubHub are, of course, also able to accommodate the ticketless. Tickets on that site are going for anywhere from $128 to $3,499.
