How to Party Like Michael Jordan's Sons in Vegas

NBA legend Michael Jordan recently hosted his fantasy basketball camp at The Mirage for rich men over the age of 34 who can afford to shell out $13,500-$15,000 for a weekend with Jordan and a few other elite players and coaches.

But it turns out it wasn't the old men making news today--it was Jordan's two sons, Marcus and Jeffrey, both so-so players for the University of Central Florida's basketball team. Thanks to Twitter, we know just how they partied it up in Vegas.

Marcus twittered:

"Last night was stupid... 35k at Haze... Totals 50k something the whole day.. Damn!! Going to the pool again today.. Gotta relax!

Ever Wondered What Juliette Lewis Was Up To These Days?

Well, if you're in town tonight you can pop over to Haze nightclub at Aria where she will be giving a special performance.

If you weren't aware, Ms. Lewis has spent the last few years in a rock band, The Licks. Honestly, we've never heard her music but we do know that she rocks out in crazy spandex gear. She looks like an American Apparel hoarder. Her new solo album Terra Incognita was released in September and got pretty decent reviews. Expect those songs tonight at Haze. Doors open at 10:30pm. Your Best Celeb Bet In Clubland This Weekend: Nicky Hilton

It’s a quiet weekend celeb-wise in clubland this week (maybe they’re all scared of being trumped by the real life movie stars over for ShoWest). But if you needs your dubious celebrity appearance fix, worry not.

Nicky Hilton is hosting at Vanity on Saturday, while Chuck’s Yvonne Strahovski (us neither) is doing the honors over at Tabu. Performance-wise, Kid Sister is at LAX and Tyson Ritter from the All American Rejects is doing his thing at Haze.

From Barry The Manilow to Leighton The Meester: What's On Offer In Vegas This Weekend

There’s a bit of a dearth of top sleb action in the clubs tonight (the top draw being Holly Madison hosting at Eve), mainly because Barry The Manilow starts his new residency at Paris tonight (tickets are sold out for tonight, but otherwise start at $95).

But, tomorrow it’s a bit better because Leighton Meester is at Haze throwing a Good Girls Go Bad party, while over at Jet, guido Ronnie and guidette Sammi are hosting a Break-Ups and Make-Ups party. And there we were thinking we’d have to go a week without a Jersey Shore fix. We can now breathe again.

Kelly Rowland we like. Haze we like. So Kelly Rowland at Haze is defo a combination we approve of.

The Rowland is hosting this Thursday and it’s being billed as an “industry night” – at least, we think that’s what they mean, rather than “inudstry night”, as the poster says. Been partying a bit too hard, Haze lot?

Either way, we're hoping she’ll be performing for the ‘inudstry’ lot.

We were lucky enough to be down at Haze on Saturday for her party, and even luckier to have a plum view down her top for her performance in the middle of the dance floor (yes, we were looking, and yes, they nearly fell out a couple of times).

Time to wake up in Vegas again for Katy Perry – tomorrow night she’s hosting the just-as-imaginatively-titled-as-we-just-wrote Waking Up in Vegas party at Haze.

Expect her to bang out a few hits, say a few things guaranteed to get her in the papers, and possibly snog Russell Brand, if she brings him along. Our bet is that she will, and that they’ll even toddle off to a chapel at some point. Just to complete their transformation from genuinely cute couple to shameless publicity whores.

Kick Off the New Year in a Haze at Aria

If you're planning on doing some bottle-popping and bumping and grinding during your stay at Aria, you should know before you go that the all the nightlife options are run by The Light Group, the company behind so many other popular Vegas nightclubs like JET and The Bank.

In fact, you really can't pump a fist in Aria without doing it inside a Light Group venue. Here's their line-up: The Gold Lounge outside the Viva Elvis theater; the Deuce lounge off the casino floor; several small bars like The View, Bar Moderno, City Bar and Pool Bar; Liquid, which will be a pool dayclub a la Bare at the Mirage; and the Haze nightclub which is located downstairs.

What's Not Open on Christmas Day in Vegas?

The Ice King and Queen and their snow fairies at The Palazzo never get a day off!

The answer is, everything is still open on Christmas Day in Las Vegas on The Strip. Hotels are of course, open and almost all restaurants are serving special Christmas menus.

Even better, since most people are in their homes putting out cookies for Santa and bickering with their relatives, everything in Vegas from the casinos to the shows to the bars are less crowded. (God forbid, we see a bachelorette party on Christmas Day. We might have to cut someone if we ever see that.)

Checking the shows on the Strip we see that LOVE at The Mirage still has tickets for their 7 and 9:30pm shows. Jersey Boys also has tickets open on Christmas Day for the 7pm showing.

As for nightlife, we recommend hitting up the new Haze nightclub from the Light Group inside Aria. On Christmas night, the place will give guests a sneak preview on Christmas Day with DJs Sharam and Farsheed. Tickets can be bought here for $40. Doors open at 10:30pm.

Garth Brooks Swag Already Looking Fancier Than Most

Garth Brooks comes out of retirement tonight for his first concert at the Encore Theater. We hope some of you were lucky enough to get tickets (even day of tickets too) but if you aren't, you can always pick up some Garth Brooks swag just outside the theater which is daintily modeled by a hand mannequin. There you can find the obligatory concert swag like keychains, CDs, and t-shirts. But we're still waiting for a black cowboy hat that has Wynn written on it.
