The other week we asked if you could tell where this penthouse living room was found and ding, ding, ding! Commenter @MarkDC knew the answer right away. It's a penthouse sky villa at the top of ARIA's Sky Suites:
It is an Aria Sky Villa and the picture was taken from the top of the stairway (you can see the handrail in the lower left corner). It is beautiful and even has it's own in-suite elevator for those who can't take the stairs. The master bedroom is bigger than most suites I've stayed in. They are located on the top two or three floors of the Aria Skysuites. How'd I do?
Took a tour of one two years ago as part of Junior Achievement's Charity event "Holiday Suites" they have annually, tours of 6 high roller suites over an 8 hour period with wine and apps at each location and a limo to take you form place to place $100 ticket. 3rd annual will be Dec 14th. Is it OK to plug them here? You should do a story on in! If I didn't get it right, I'll be crushed...
For those of you who won't be participating in that holiday charity event this year, we went inside the sky villa penthouse. The seriously sweet suite features three bedrooms, a private salon, a fitness center and a full kitchen and bar. There's an even a smaller living room at the top of the second floor, right next to the salon (hair not gaming). Not to mention there are tons of windows everywhere with killer views of Vegas. Yes, sh*t be cray.
Wanna check this off your bucket list? Rates start at $3,500 a night. Call 877.580.2742 to book.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you say you know Vegas, but how well do you really know this town? Well enough to know exactly where this serious high-roller suite can be found?
If you think you do, then step right up and drop your answer in the comments below. Here are a few hints to get you started:
· It's not SKYLOFTS, but kinda close.
· The suite has three bedrooms, a full kitchen, a private barber's chair and a workout room.
· The hotel has its own private entrance.
· Yes, that's an iMac on the desk there.
· You should not get drunk and walk down or up the staircase. Just pass out on the couch.
We'll reveal the answer in a few days!
Wheat Thins threw a Final Four viewing party inside the Hardwood Suite at the Palms last weekend and we were lucky enough to get a peek at the goods. We know, right - Wheat Thins equals party people! The 10,000 sq. ft. suite is a two-story Fantasy Tower room that runs for $25,000 a night. See, that's why we'd never been allowed within several hundred yards of the place before.
The Wheat Thins party made full use of each inch in the room that can accommodate 325 people. Entering the suite we were immediately faced with a choice. Check out the best stocked mini-bar we've ever seen:
With so many fall TV season premieres this month, our trusty TiVo has been putting in some overtime. Earlier this week, we were readying ourselves to judge just how bad Outsourced might be, so we sat down with a stiff drink and hit the TiVo button on our remote. But a TiVo Central ad for “Get $1 off M&Ms Pretzel Candies” caught our eye first (hey, a buck is a buck and we have a weakness for M&Ms).
In addition to scoring a coupon, we could watch “Behind the Shell at the Palms Hotel: Your ultimate insider’s guide to the Palms Hotel….a glimpse into the exclusive amenities celebrities crave in Vegas.”
Usually lifestyle suites in Las Vegas tend to center around a certain...well...lifestyle that you want to emulate. At The Palms, there's the Playboy Suite for those who've always wanted to live like Hugh Hefner, even if just for a night. There's also the Hardwood suite with a basketball court, bleachers and your own set of cheerleaders in case your fantasy was living like Kobe Bryant for a day.
At the Hard Rock, the Penthouse suite comes with its own bowling alley to fulfill your "Kingpin" dreams. Meanwhile more affordable one-bedrooms suites at the Hard Rock are billed as "Celebrity Suites." Over at Paris Las Vegas, high rollers can feed their ego in the hotel's ultra-exclusive Napolean Suite on the 31st floor.
