Have you been on a heater at the tables or lighting up the bonus reels when hunger pains hit? Or the throat goes dry waiting for the cocktail waitress to circle back 'round to quench that thirst. But yet this table's hot, you can't leave - that's just throwing money away! Maybe the desert sun is beating down on you poolside, you need a burger (veggie that teeny weeny bikini reminds you) but your cash is drying out in the room. Now there's an app for that, at least at the Hard Rock.
On a recent trip to the 'Rock we spotted signs for Pago, an app that allows you to order and pay for goods and services throughout the casino. We
assumed it was lame took note to dive into it later and now that we did, it might be worth checking out. Especially if you spend a lot of time at HRH, the only Vegas spot to offer the service so far.
Another food-based Happy Hour? We likey a lot. After Munch Barís offering of half price appetizers, Johnny Smalls at the Hard Rock is going all out by offering all you can eat tapas for $19.99 Ė which includes anything from the regular menu.
The deal, according to their Twitter, is valid Wednesday to Sunday, and if you fancy a drink, combine it with the Happy Hour they already have, when you get 2 for one cocktails Wednesday to Sunday from 5-7pm.
Does this mean the place is in trouble? Well, reviews have been mixed although we liked most of what we tried at a taster session. But for $19.99 you canít argue much. Weíre pretty sure itís going to get even louder in there.

Even the loneliest losers can get dates at a tapas restaurant. We present the Dates at Cana.
Fleur de Lys served its final dish under the restaurantís current format last Saturday. Hubert Keller will now shutdown the space to renovate and expand the interior and patio spaces, as well as update menu. Word on the street is that the menu will be more Tapas oriented but that the exact mix is still in discussion.
While we anxiously await Chef Kellerís reincarnation (and think about the tapas-y street food coming to Origin India, we couldnít help but wander our thoughts to other Vegas locations where we can order Tapas today:
A little while ago, we got an email from a reader telling us to look out for a new tapas restaurant at the Hard Rock, Johnny Smalls. Last night, we finally got to go to the opening shebang to taste a few of the dishes.
The verdict? All good. We got our hands on a lettuce cup (a shrimp inside a lettuce leaf with lots of salad and pomegranate seeds) which was lovely, if a little sweet, fried stringcheese crusted with jalapeno (also very good), deep fried green beans (nothing groundbreaking) and a pudding of a crusty baked peanut butter with jelly, which was bloody amazing.
