KÀ Goes From Stage To Comic Book Page

Their performers may defy gravity like super-heroes, but now Cirque du Soleil legitimately belongs alongside Spider-man and the Fantastic Four. Cirque has teamed with Marvel Comics to produce a comic book based on KÀ. During Cirque Week we were introduced to the production team of a proposed four-issue series. The story honors the exact plot of the MGM Grand show and, if you've heard that Cirque don't always make sense, you certainly can't say that about the hero's journey of KÀ.

Cirque Du Soliel Makes A Movie

Zarkana is Cirque du Soleil's latest spectacle, but for fans wanting more Cirky Cirky and who can't wait for the King of Pop's Immortal tribute or those that just can't make it to Vegas soon enough, there's another opportunity to get soaked in Soleil right around the corner.
On December 21, the folks behind KA, LOVE Viva Elvis and now Zarkana make the jump from stage to screen in a 3D spectacular movie. Because anything less than 3D just wouldn't be spectacular enough. Cirque brass has teamed up with the makers of Avatar and The Chronicles of Narnia (this one, not that one) to create Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away 3D.

Go KA-razy in NYC So You Don't Have To Spend The Cash Here

The Cirque du Soleil show you usually don't hear much about is taking over New York City. (Ok, maybe not permanently and just seven of the cast members including the 'twins' above.)
KA, which can normally be seen at MGM Grand, will help ring in Chinese New Year in NYC. Broadway World reports that KA performers will take part in Chinatown's Lunar New Year Parade February 6.
If you're in the Big Apple that day, and obvi not planning to watch the Big Game, you can catch their performance at 2:30 p.m. EST at Sarah Roosevelt Park, scratching the show off your Vegas to-do list and saving some cash, too.
