Tipping Dealers Doesn't Hurt Your Gambling Karma

We're not here to judge how people play at a casino. No two people are alike and that's okay. We do like to advise when we see something that strikes us as important. Over the weekend, one of our favorite follows on Twitter, @AnnoyedCsnoDlr, mentioned someone who didn't tip on a big win:
Guy wins $2,000, tips nada and my supervisor says "Well that's how you earn a shitty rating with $5 average bet." It pays to tip! #ACD

Tipping At The Sportsbook: Yay or Nay?

Tipping is optional, but in Las Vegas feels as if it's mandatory. When we visit the bank, we always ask for singles for tips. Valet, cocktail waitresses, dealers, front desk attendants, bellmen, waiters/waitresses, concierge, maids and room service are just a few of the people expecting a tip at a casino.
As a gambler, this writer always tries to make sure that he tips dealers. On a craps come out roll, there is often a Two Way YO thrown out just to show the dealers that we know what we're doing. Craps can get crazy and this helps to motivate the dealers to keep an eye on our action. Many tippers believe in tipping as karma. Treat the dealers well and, hopefully, they'll return the kindness. A smile doesn't always do the trick at the tables.
