Yes, we’ve noticed the frilly stuff on sale in La Vogue - Paris’s new “bridal and bachelorette boutique” - for a while now, but this week we finally made it in.

At first glance, we were pretty disappointed. We saw his and her towels, Mr and Mrs soap dishes, even a $10 bar of soap with a bride and groom etched into the glycerine. Boring. Ou est le sauce?

This week just gets better and better. Not only is Thursday the opening of Vegas! The Show (no, we’re not among the chosen ones to be invited - sob), but it’s also National Underwear Day (hurray).

What does that mean for you? Well, assuming you’re not a skank Hollywood starlet (or a Britney) who prefers to go au naturel, it means bargains for your knicker drawer, courtesy of lingerie shop Love Jones at the Hard Rock (they of underwear room service fame.

On Thursday, they’re emptying the closets and offering buy one pair, get one free on undies from brands like Hanky Panky, Undrest and Sexy Panties and Naughty Knickers (buyable for the names alone, surely).

Room Service? Send Up a Thong

When most of us order late-night room service from Vegas hotels, we’re fiending for stuff to soak up an evening of booze: greasy bacon cheeseburgers, gooey buffalo wings, salty French fries.

At the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, however, guests have another option on the room service menu: lingerie.

The special service, affiliated with Love Jones Rock-N-Roll Lingerie Boutique on the hotel’s casino floor, is available to all guests 24 hours a day. Guests receive a printed menu in their rooms upon check-in. The catch? The menu doesn’t list any prices, beside the note about a mandatory $10 gratuity on all orders.

Oh, for the record, the women who deliver your orders are NOT wearing lingerie themselves.
