The calm before the storm at Jet tonight
Tonight’s a busy night in Vegas clubworld, and to mark it, they’re having another Kardashian-Jersey Shore standoff. Robert Kardashian is celebrating his birthday at Jet, and Pauly D is DJing at Ghostbar at the Palms. The RK hotness or the fist-pumping hot mess – the choice is yours.
If you want to stay clear, Soulja Boy is at Eve tonight (overload – he was at Jet only in January), Travis Barker is at Pure (should be interesting) and Jerome Bettis (oh-kay) is having his 38th birthday party at Tao.
Seem to remember there’s something going on at Caesars tonight as well, but it just slipped our minds.

Mariah v Leno, and LiLo v Kardashian. Just Another Day In Vegas.
Obviously Vegas has stuff going on all the time but it feels like the place is particularly packed for entertainment purposes this Saturday.
Mariah Carey is taking over from Bill Clinton as the Colosseum headliner on Saturday – tickets start at $75, and when we checked with the Caesars box office yesterday, there was still a fair bit of availability.
Meanwhile, Jay Leno is bringing his chin back for another stint over at the Mirage, from $105 (he’s also there Friday). If you miss him this time, he’ll be back once or twice a month until October, the ho – dates and tickets here.

Heidi Montag's Photoshoot Has Put Us Right Off Caesars
Caesars must be proud. Bill Clinton, Cher, Mariah Carey, Matt Goss, Lionel Richie and now, um, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who jetted in to host at PURE on Saturday and had time to squeeze in a revolto sexy photoshoot as well.
At first we thought it would just be a DIY job when Spencer tweeted a pic of their bed, complete with the V day lingerie ready for Mrs Pratt (letting the world in on your sexytime prep – delightful).

Brace Yourselves: La Lohan Is Coming to Town
We were strolling through Caesars the other day when we spotted a sign announcing a definite date in the diary: the lovely Lindsay Lohan is down to host at PURE on 27 February.
Oh, the excitement. What will she wear? What color will her hair be? What state will she be in? We can’t wait (sadly enough, we jest ye not).
Haven’t Caesars done well for themselves over the past week? Matt Goss, Bill Clinton, Celine Dion, and now the Lohan. Next week, wq’re fully expecting them to announce the Dalai Lama guesting in the Pussycat Dolls Lounge.

Holly Madison to Film Reality Show About Life, Work and Boobies in Vegas
It looks like we will have another reality TV show to add to our DVR queue this Summer. E! Online reports that PeepShow star and former Girl Next Door, Holly Madison will be filming a reality show about her life and work in Vegas. Here's what to expect:
The eight-episode reality series will premiere in the summer of 2010 and focuses on Holly's life as "she lives, works and plays in her new home in Las Vegas." As produced by Girls Next Door and Kendra boss Kevin Burns (no relation to PBS guy Ken Burns), World follows Holly on such adventures as a pinup calendar photo shoot in Mexico and a Vegas boosters meeting with Vegas mayor Oscar B. Goodman.
Somehow, we have a sneaking feeling that fellow former GND'er Kendra Wilkinson is going to find a way to appear on this show with her new baby. She's been selling out her womb and soul to every tabloid magazine that will pay her. So we won't be surprised if she makes a visit to Vegas. Just remember Kendra, babies can't go out to nightclubs.

You Just Crashed The White House, Where Are You Going to Go? PURE, Of Course
And we thought Kevin Federline hosting nightclub parties in Veags was the lowest of the low. But we've gone even lower--The White House Crashers.
TMZ reports that Pure at Caesars Palace is having Tareq and Michaele Salahi, the "alleged" White House Crashers, host a party on January 16 for a skimpy $5,000 appearance fee.
Not that we are advocating they get more than 5k but you have to admit, it's on the low, low, low end. Still, Pure will foot the bill for limo transportation, a free suite at Caesar's Palace, dinner, and "all sorts of comped booze."
We've said it before and we'll say it again, Vegas needs to just say "No" to these types of famewhores. Then again, the Barack Obama impersonators in town now have something to do on this night.

Shaking Your Lady Lumps at LAX on Thursday is Getting Pretty Costly
Let’s hope we’re preaching to the converted when we remind you that the Black Eyed Peas are hosting at LAX for New Year’s Eve on Thursday. Or that your Christmas stocking was pretty packed. Because tickets have crept up from the $150 they were going for when we first checked, to $300. Add in the relative fees for booking them and you’re looking at $315.90. $79 per Pea? Not so palatable.
For something a little cheaper, Fiddy over at PURE is going for $250, and Pete Wentz at Jet can be yours for a mere $150. Now doesn’t that make LAX sound so much better value?

We don’t want to tell you what to do on New Year’s Eve, the biggest party night of the whole stinkin’ year (we’re not the boss of you, after all), but we have no qualms making suggestions on where you ought to go. We’ve been bringing you our suggestions Friday after Friday, and here are two more celeb-studded possibilities to add to your social mix:
Pete Wentz will host NYE festivities at Jet Nightclub at The Mirage. Get the tattooed rocked off Ashlee Simpson’s leash and you get all sorts of go-go dancer, colorful light screens beams and projection screens fun. Tickets start at $150 per person, but drinks areon the house from 10 p.m. to midnight.

Caesars Prepares For Another Hangover Next Thursday

Orlando Bloom? Old news. We’ll have you know that one of People’s Sexiest Men Alive will be hanging out at Caesars Palace next Thursday. And, if you cross your fingers right, there might even be two of them.
Because next Thursday is the launch of The Hangover on DVD, and to celebrate, Warners are throwing a bash at PURE. Sexy Justin Bartha, who we last saw swanning around the aptly-named Garden of the Gods in People’s list, is going to be there. So is the lovely Heather Graham, as well as Rob Riggle, Ken Jeong and director Todd Phillips.
As for Bradley 'be still our beating hearts’ Cooper, he’s TBC (along with Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis). We’re crossing fingers and toes, but seeing as he’s off in Vancouver filming The A Team, he probably aint gonna show.
Never mind. Justin will do.

Fiddy And The Black Eyed Peas Are Taking On Xtina For New Year's Eve
While Christina Aguilera will be getting down at Tao this New Year’s Eve, Caesar’s will be luring 50 Cent down to PURE to “perform” (as opposed to merely “hosting”, like Xtina).
Tickets are going for $150, with table rezzies starting at $2000 (four people, including two bottles of spirits). For a chunky $25k, 10 of you will get four bottles of Belvedere, the same of Dom Perignon, and a chance to shake hands with the Fidster himself. Reserve your tables here or get your pleb tickets at Vegas.com.
If you want more celebs for your money, you’ll need to hit LAX in the Luxor where the Black Eyed Peas will be doing their thing. Again, entry costs $150, while tables start at $3000 for six people. A table, booze, plus a meet and greet costs, again, $25,000. But with four of them to go around, that’s a lot more reasonable, no? No? Well Bette Midler's yours for $120.

What’s the Latest With Social House?
Over the summer, VegasChatter dined at Social House at Treasure Island one night only to find out that it was one of the last nights that the restaurant would be open. The waitresses informed us that they had only heard about the closing themselves as they came into work.
After some tussle with the folks at PURE, who denied to us that the restaurant was closing, we learned that the Social House closure was 100 percent official, with the intentions of it reopening elsewhere on the Strip at a later date. (It closed on July 5.)
At the time Social House closed, Pure representatives said the decision had nothing to do with Phil Ruffin’s purchase of TI from MGM/Mirage. It was a business decision, they insisted. Still, one can certainly speculate (especially since representatives from TI did not return calls seeking comment).
So far, there’s no news on where or when the place will reappear. Although we've heard whispers that Social House might make a move into CityCenter when it opens in December.
Nevertheless, the old Social House space received new life on Aug. 10, when TI opened Khotan, a pan-Asian restaurant.

The 90s Are Back and PURE at Caesars is Responsible
Last week we theorized that Las Vegas is probably loving the 90s just a little too much what with all these old acts coming out of the grunge and floral babydoll dress woodwork to perform in town. But the 90s obsession continues with rapper Biz Markie who is performing tonight at PURE at Caesars Palace. And yes, expect his "Just a Friend" hit that had you cracking up in 9th grade to be performed. Put yourself on the list here.
You can expect this 90s obsession to last at least until Thanksgiving. Next month, Third Eye Blind is set to perform. You remember them, right? It was their classic "Semi-Charmed Kind of Life" that had you all pumped up in the bars late at night after you finally finished your term papers. And don't forget their, "How's It Gonna Be?" was the breakup hit of 1998.
Missed a chance to see 'em in college? Then fear not. You can see them at PURE (of all places for alt-rockers) on November 13 at 8pm.
