Mandalay Bay's New Deal Will Leave Your Wallet and Your Stomach Heavier
We personally haven’t been able to touch a buffet since our epic seven in 24 hours stint a couple of months back, but we understand that those of you who aren’t similarly scarred are fond of the old all you can eat. So you might be interested in the latest deal from Mandalay Bay.
Stay two nights and as well as your room, the All Day Buffet package gives you two all day buffet passes to fill your little tummies with. Even better, the rates advertised are from $65 for Mandalay Bay, and $85 for THEhotel.
Obviously those rates are too much to hope for. Looking at availability this morning, there are a fair few $86 rates at Mandalay in August and a couple of $70s in September, but to get a $66 deal, you’ll have to wait till November 21.
As for THEhotel, there are a few $100 rates scattered through August (nice!) and some $96s in September. You can score a $90 room for October 31 or your $86 on 21 November.

Calling Rich Scuba Divers! Le Reve Wants to Give You a Starring Role
Normally we’re all about the budget packages here at VegasChatter but the Wynn has just come up with a pretty fly suggestion for a watery weekend and, hey, we can dream, innit. Or should that be, we can reve?
The Diver’s Dream package gets you a two night stay, VIP tickets to Le Reve, a private backstage tour, a scuba training session with the Le Reve diving team and – the icing on the cake – the chance to dive in the show. Yes, it’s perfect for closet exhibitionists – you’ll be (an integral, we’re sure) part of the show without being seen by the audience, and you get to tell all the folks back home that you stared in a Vegas show. What’s not to love?
Err, the price, unfortunately. It costs $2,000 for one diver or $3,000 for two of you. And you have to be a certified scuba diver already. But hey, as far as we know, this is the only show that lets you take part, so if you’ve got money to burn... after all, this could be part of your submission for your own Vegas star. And that, surely, is priceless.
Also, you know, there could be some upskirts to be had from down there.
Call 702 770 SWIM (love it) to book.

MGM Mirage's Summer Camp is Going to be Pricey
Holly Madison got all dolled up and this is the best you can do, MGM Mirage?
Remember the Camp Vegas launch at the end of April? Well, apart from the TV ads (starring our favorite sexy Vegas lady, Tala McDonnough), we haven’t really seen much evidence of camps on the ground.
Until we got an email through about MGM Mirage’s Camp Vegas promotions. Aria, MGM Grand, Bellagio, Luxor, the Mirage, Monte Carlo, Circus Circus and Excalibur are all offering Camp Vegas packages, although they greatly vary in their dealiness.
Camp Vegas at Aria, for example, costs from $149 and gives you $50 resort credit and an Aria cap and t-shirt – which, assuming you’re despo for the branded goods, is unlikely to entice you more than this. Likewise, the Bellagio’s starts at $174, and offers you an upgrade and an “Exclusive Invited Guest check-in” – nice enough, until you realize that a standard room costs $149 when it’s $174 on the package, and to buy your own upgrade would come in at $179. Not such a deal.
Luxor’s offering assumes you’ll spend your trip on the premises – giving you a pair of tickets to each of Believe, Bodies, Titanic, the Spa and LAX – but for $210 a night, we aint buying (if you are, though, use promo code PDCAMP).

Aria's Pool Scene Is Probably Worth Nabbing This Deal For
You too can access the Aria pool area without fearing a tap on the shoulder
UPDATE 1530: @StiffsGeorges has tweeted an even better Aria deal: rates from $109 Sun-Thurs, $139 Friday and Saturday and $75 resort credit thrown in. Valid May 31 - September 9; book it here or call 866 359 7757 and quote promo code ARSOGB.
We got another taste of the Aria pool scene at the weekend, and as well as loving the Borats and free lapdances at Liquid (more on that another time), we thought the whole pool area looked pretty hopping (as, ahem, we already predicted).
Of course, the problem with enjoying the Aria pool area, as we already mentioned, is the pesky pair of men standing on the door asking you to show your room key before you gain entry. You could try doing what we did, which was to say we were going to Liquid, and then doing what we didn't, which is doubling back to the pool area, but if you don’t want a Sex and the City Soho House moment, then we suggest you stay there.
Luckily for you, since Aria is doing pretty badly atm, there’s a pretty good deal going. The Grand Opening Special has rates from $129 (not so exciting) but will throw in a $100 resort credit with it (much better). Sadly, it's a two night minimum stay and the credit is for the duration of the booking, rather than per night, but it still knocks prices down to around $100 a night, once you factor in the resort fee, which isn’t so bad.

Only The Brave Should Try A $24 Room At Circus Circus
Has your burning desire for a cheap hotel room not been extinguished by our experiences at Excalibur and Caesars? Then, brave souls, you may like to try hitting up Circus Circus, which has a sale on until the end of the day.
Prices aren’t bad at all – rooms start at $24, and there are plenty – nay, plenty - of dates for this price, as well as $26. Weekends start at $56 in May.
After tax and resort fee, the $24 rooms come to $29.79, but for that you do get included free WiFi, two rides at the Adventure Dome, a plate of chips and salsa at the Garden Grill, two free drinks and a pair of fitness passes. Not so bad, right?

Caesars Has Rooms For $75 Tomorrow (Yes, As In Friday) Night
Yes it’s a crap room but for $75, do you care?
We’re not sure why this is going down, but we’re never ones to look a gift horse in the mouth so we shall simply say that Caesars has unleashed a seriously cracking deal for a stay this Friday (ie tomorrow).
How cracking? $75 cracking. Yup, $75, for a Friday night. The standard rate for tomorrow is $180, but click here to access the Friday promotion and you’ll bag it for $75. Including tax, it comes to $84. We repeat: $84 for a Friday night. On the Strip. Bonza.
We tried plugging in some different Friday dates to see if this is going to be a regular thing, but the system won’t let us at the moment, so it looks like this could be a one off. We suggest you just book it, rather than asking why.

$40 Rooms and a Load of Family Discounts If You Brave Circus Circus
And today’s cheap deal comes courtesy of Circus Circus, which is advertising rooms for $39.95 with its Family Fun Getaway package. The cheapest $40 deal we could see on the availability calendar is 31 May (which seems to be the cheapest date around at all the hotels) but there are plenty of $44 and $43 deals for April and lots of $42 in May. The cheapest weekend deal we can see is $85, first and second weeks of May.
As well as the room, they’ll throw in a bunch of family-orientated discounts (worth up to $260): two for one deals at the Adventuredome, NYNY’s rollercoaster, Siegfriend & Roy’s Secret Garden and Lance Burton. There’s also 30 percent off Lion King tickets, $10 off Tournament of Kings and buy one, get one half price off Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay.

Luxor Has Rooms For $36 (Also Reckons It's 'New')
Yours for $36, plus resort fee
And today’s bargain room rate is... wait for it... Luxor. Yes, everyone’s mankiest favorite pyramid is offering rooms for as low as $36 this week. Which isn’t quite as good as Excalibur’s $27 game, but we’re more partial to a pyramid than a Disney-lite tower anyway.
The Hit the Jackpot offer calls itself a chance to experience the “New Luxor” from $36, and while we’re not sure what they mean by “new” (maybe that's why they don't want us to take photos, to fool you) it gives you a stay for a pretty decent price.

Excalibur Is Going Down To $27
For some reason (can’t think why), Excalibur isn’t a casino we go into that often. And because it’s not high on our radar, we kinda forgot how good the room rates can be.
Forgot, that is, until yesterday, when we got an email about their new Rooms for $27 package which, as chance would have it, offers rooms for $27.

MGM Grand Wants You To Have A Hot Spring Fling
Well we never – a hotel package that doesn’t seem to be a load of tosh. That’s a nice surprise to wake up to!
The hotel in question is the MGM Grand, and the package in question, their Spring Fling deal.
On the promo email, which pinged into our inbox overnight, they say rooms start at $55. Well, yes, although not till June 20. However, they are a fair bit cheaper than the basic rates. We can’t put our finger on an exact percentage, because it’s early in the morning the amount you save seems to vary from day to day, but in the next couple of weeks, by booking this package, you can get a $100 room for $76, a $170 room for $135, an $80 room for $67 and a $75 room for $63.

Calling All Californians: The M Resort Wants To Save You Money
We love it when a deal turns out to be a real deal, so after our disappointment at the lackluster “locals discount” at New York New York, we’re pleased to report that the M Resort is doing things the right way.
When we drove past a billboard offering 30 percent off rooms to California residents a couple of weeks ago, we assumed it was more of a tease than anything else. So we were very excited when we called the M this morning and asked about the offer.

Nice Broad Definition Of "Locals" At NYNY, Shame The Perks Aren't Up To Scratch
The mythical locals discount in Vegas has always been something of a mystery to us. For a start, the shows you want never have them (hi Donny & Marie, ‘ssup Matt Goss), and for another, the definition of “local” (Nevada ID) seems a bit arbitrary – so you’re “local” to Vegas if you live hundreds of miles away up the other end of Nevada, but not if you’re from Baker. Oh-kay...
So initially, when a “Staycation” offer for locals popped into our inbox from New York New York this morning, we were tickled by their definition of locals - all residents of Nevada, California and Arizona.
But then we had a look at the rates. And then a good scour through them. And we can’t see a single date in the next six months when the price for locals is less than for our friends from, say, Ohio.
